Being our mission to offer Qvalitas Plvs Vltra Fetal Bovine Serum and related services, our criteria of collection and processing follows the principles of the biological-trophic chain applied to biomass, facilities, equipment and processes. Therefore, the traceability is constantly maintained during all the steps of the bio-technologic chain through our database.
Given the world’s viral reality and the international commerce regulations, Trinity Tek only collects animal blood from those countries or zones from the American continent considered free of bovine spongiform encephalopathy – BSE and foot and mouth disease – FMD, following the indications of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code (Terrestrial Code) ruled by the World Organization for Animal Health (O.I.E.).

For the case of Colombia as a country of origin, it can be noticed that the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE), recognizes it with the highest health status level for cattle:
•Country free of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) with Vaccination and
•Country free of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) with Negligible Risk.
Our exportations to the EU are approved by the DG SANTE with the N°05 of the X Section of blood and hemoderivatives for Technical Purposes, with Category 3 Activities or Low Risk. They are also approved by the Federal Veterinary Office (FVO) of the Swiss Confederation and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries.
We also have the approval of Israel’s Veterinary Services and Animal Health (VSAH), the Rosselkhoznadzor from the Russian Federation and we are waiting for the approval of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) of the People’s Republic of China and the BAPHIQ from the Republic of China – Taiwan.
